Revolving Root Beer Mug Roadside Wonder at La Place Frostop

If you want to hear my Boston accent make an unscheduled appearance on RetroRoadmap listen to my attempt at extemporaneous narration as you watch this video of the wonderful rotating rootbeeer mug on Route 61 in La Place Louisiana.

Or turn off the volume and just watch it go ’round.

I’ll have more photos and stories to share about this great place once we’re not on the road, but this “place” was too cool not to share immediately!

Next stop? TEXAS!

“Wicked psyched”! I miss that. :o) After not actually HEARING your voice in so many years, hearing it now makes me realize you sound EXACTLY like my childrens’ choir director/drama director! Do people have a “voice” doppleganger?

Yeah, I obviously didn’t script that 😉 That would be funny if I had a voice doppleganger – I always quote George Costanza “my voice is all high and whiney!”
