This place is so much fun! I’ve only been once, and it was years ago, so I’d love to go back. I love that after the Playland park closed, all of these treasures still have a home in SF 🙂

Glad you were able to get there – I have fond memories of my local amusement park and wish that their stuff was saved like these great vintage arcade items were!

We went there when we went to SF on our honeymoon. We saw it on an episode of Storage Wars in the hotel room the night before we flew out, and knew it was a must stop on our adventure. What a fun place!

Wow, I had no idea the Musee was on Storage Wars! I’m happy with any press that these cool places can get. What a fun place, huh? We went there on our wedding anniversary!

Is the fortune teller still there? She was my favorite when the arcade was near the old Sutro Baths. I think there are some ghost stories about her, too. Thanks for a great post!

I’m pretty sure she was there the last time we visited (in 2012) – there are so many cool old machines there – always happy to hear that folks like you enjoy them as much as we do!
