April 18, 2010 at 5:58 pmOh very cool! My grandfather owned a Mobil and my great Uncle worked for them for forever- and the Sinclair reminds me of my other grandfather – I remember him giving me one of those plastic dinosaurs and some soap shaped like an old lady? Great stuff!

April 18, 2010 at 10:26 pmOh, I used to be so fascinated by roadmaps! We drove all over the eastern coastal US every summer. And the car ad jingles added to the wanderlust: “See the USA, in your Chev-Ro-Let!”

April 20, 2010 at 12:13 pmI LOVE that jingle – I remember putting it on a mixed tape for my sister when she was living out of the country back in the early 90’s. Travelin EAST Traveling WEST! Wherever you go, Chevy service is best! I am still fascinated with road maps, are you surprised? 🙂
