If you like vintage vacation destinations, classic neon signs, real old diners, cabin court motels, drive in movies, giant fiberglass chickens and the gooniest miniature golf ever, the Lake George area is for you! It’s going to take me longer than I want it to to fill all you Retro Roadmap readers in on the fun we had in Lake George NY, so here’s the short version – just go!
I’ve promised myself that I’ll stay put this weekend to catch up on all of the fab places we went, to gear everyone up for a super summer of retro vacation fun!

May 19, 2010 at 10:15 pmLake George…where else can you visit a colonial era fort with a 50’s era gift shop, then play 1920’s mini golf, go to a 50’s wax museum and a Tiki Hotel all within walking distance??? Great place, used to go once a year back in the 90’s. Hopefully going next year for Ohana on the Lake
