WV- I didn’t know it was there either – I was in the neighborhood scoping out the Glider Diner and when I saw it I just couldn’t resist. Such A Cool Place! Will be sharing the details and more of the photos I took inside, very soon!

What an incredible relief! It’d like to know the story behind it.

Rick- I laughed at the first way I read your post b/c I thought “what’s he so relieved about?!” 🙂 It actually is from the Philadelphia Convention Center and the tablets practically run the entire length of their alley driveway. A real archeologial find! Can’t wait to take a look at all the photos I took.

Always wanted to go to this place. We purchased a couple of doorknobs from them (they have a small shop in NYC) but have heard great things about the Scanton location.

Sean, you should definitely check out the Scranton location! Tim, the very nice warehouse manager who I chatted with, referred to it as the “mother ship” of all of their locations, and they even give you a map so you don’t get lost in the place. I spent longer than I realized there, but it was so cool I wanted to see everything…though I know what I took in was just the tip of the iceberg!

The first thing I thought was, Rockefeller Center has a piece of its facade missing! Then I thought, who would demolish such a thing? I checked, and it’s the same old story. Outclassed by newer venues (such as the Spectrum) and no regular tenant, it comes down to this.
