Sad Update: June 2014 Weber’s never opened this season and is up for auction. So sad. Now there are only two left in New Jersey (Pennsauken and Stratford) and one more in Oklahoma. Hope someone saves the Sputnik!

I was relieved to learn (from the nice policeman who was curious as to why I was photographing a closed roadside root beer stand) that the Weber’s Drive in in Brooklawn, NJ is just closed for the season. Phew! When I saw the shuttered drive-in and empty parking lot recently, I got worried!
