Not sure if anyone else gets to be a glum chum during these dark months like Mod B does, but in case I’m not the only one, here are some fun vintage signs from our recent travels. This should hopefully give us all a lift – not just because these vintage signs are so cool to look at, but it means that shortly all of these places will have their spot on the Retro Roadmap!
George’s Coney Island Lunch – Worcester MA
Sunset Motel – Brevard NC
Termini Bakery – Philadelphia PA
Jimmy’s Quick Lunch – Hazleton PA
Wright’s Dairy-Rite – Staunton VA
Katz’s Deli – New York City NY
Stay tooned and avoid the gloom!

January 25, 2013 at 9:46 amThanks Jen – I was psyched when I saw that sign in the dark (especially because Google Maps was wrong and sent us in the opposite direction AND we had out of town/country guests following us in a different car!)

January 25, 2013 at 11:58 pmThanks for including the great – always great – Termini’s signage. That name…that sign…many a Saturday afternoon spent walking from our rowhome in South Philly (west of Broad Street) to the great Italian bakery (east of Broad) to pick up all manner of delish Italian pastries.
