One thing I’m looking forward to going to (Macy’s) in Philadelphia to hear the Wanamaker Organ and watch the light show. I may not be their demographic, but it’s such a cool old tradition, harkening back to the golden age of the city department store!

As you know, we just got back from a trip to Santa Claus in Indiana, but I haven’t actually got any further in thinking about what other Christmassy things to do! Heck, I haven’t even put up the tree yet! 🙂

December 3, 2009 at 5:15 pmEvery year right after Thanksgiving my ever expanding family visits LaSalette Shrine in Attleboro, MA. There are millions of lights, displays, holiday music playing, hot cocoa, hot cider, bread to buy, and the last two or three years includes a Merry Go-Round! Along with Edaville Railroad in Carver, MA (which I think sadly may be defunked now), this is my favorite holiday excursion!
