MD Fried Chicken restaurants were quite common at one time. I ate for years at one on Slappey Drive in Albany, GA. I don’t know if it is still open or note. It was second generation ownership of that store. It was a once a week stop when I worked there.

February 28, 2012 at 12:14 pmMaryland fried chicken sounds suspiciously similar to North Carolina fried chicken, which is just like Virginia fried chicken…

February 28, 2012 at 12:33 pmFine post! We’ve lost a few, but there some new MFC’s around too. There used to be one down the street that actually served Greek food as well. I too love the box ( i have a couple) and they used to have dandy t-shirts as well.

February 28, 2012 at 6:16 pmThose neon chickens…they are just so awesome. LOL I love their shape! The chicken looks tasty, too. And the packaging (not the right word, but…). So great! I couldn’t eat a bite, I’m sure, but what a fun find! (I really, really need to figure out GF fried chicken. Quickly. ;D)
