Thank you, thank you, thank you. You are an artist in words and with your eye. The photos and copy are the best!!

How gratifying that you enjoyed what we’ve tried to accomplish. It’s a work in progress. Your response is truly motivational–it keeps us committed.

We would so much like to enter into an agreement to disseminate your copy and photos. They are so incredibly well done. We would like our Home Page to link to your piece. It would make a sensational free-standing hardcopy handout.

Would you consider granting a license to us? We would want to give attribution.

I hope to communicate with you soon, –Carolyn

I’m so happy to see that the owners of the Caribbean have commented on your blog!! We had such a ball there over the 4th of July and I’m so glad you told us about the Doo Wop motels and that we were able to meet you for a retro holiday at the Caribbean. Carolyn and George have done such a great job on the motel – and the BBQ was great too! How cool that they appreciate your eye for great photos and descriptions for your Retro Roadmap. I hope to submit more from our trip to San Francisco next week.

      Cheers!

This hotel is a great place to stop. My partner (a New Jersey girl) brought me down here a couple of years ago and I fell in love wih the place. we came back again early this June for a longer stay and intend to make it a ‘must do’ trip whenever I’m over visiting her. Carolyn and George…keep up the good work ! I can’t praise the place enough and am forever mentioning it when folks asked where we went on our vacation.

Trevor- so happy to hear that you were as charmed by the Carribbean as we were. It is definitely on our permanent list of places to return as well!

Me and my wife visited from London, England, just to stay at the Caribbean, just before the US Mothers’ Day this year. This place is like heaven – we had the entire motel to ourselves for two days, and with a vintage car show taking place in Wildwood in the same week, it made for the perfect vintage vacation. Lovely staff too! Go stay at this place. Do it off season like we did, and you get an eerie Twilight Zone feeling thrown in as an extra!

I drove through Wildwood in late October a couple of years ago, and it was like a ghost town. It was kinda neat, but eerie, and it was nice to see it up and running like it should be when we were visiting! So glad you enjoyed your stay like I did!
