2018 Update: Sad to report the muffler man has been removed from this site. According to Roadside America this happened around 2015. Hat tip to The McLaughlins who gave me the reminder!

Sadly the Bridge Diner just up the street from here closed and has burned down. But the Muffler Man Lives on!
Just a few feet down 40 from the Bridge is a muffler man, always a score on any roadside adventure. He’s been painted over to wear army fatigues and guards the entrance to a deco building that is also pretty cool.
