Exquisite photos, more fetching than real life, curiously.
i grew up in Syracuse and pretty much attribute this building to inspiring my love of all things retro! imagine my pride when this very building showed up as a slide in my freshman year intro art history class (fellow major here) at Boston University!
I worked in this exquisite building for 38 years. The interior, especially the lobby area, are just as wonderful as the exterior. Thank you for your excellent article on this beautiful work of art.
Hello Tmarie – just got this link from Peg in the comments and wanted to share: http://syracusethenandnow.org/Dwntwn/ClintonSq/NIMO/NIMO.htm
I wish I knew as well! All of my research and I did not learn that. If you find out let me know – thanks!
I was wondering who was the architect behind this gorgeous buiidling.
