Exquisite photos, more fetching than real life, curiously.

Why Paul, I’m flattered that you think my photos are more fetching than the building itself, but I’ll take it! Thanks for checking out Retro Roadmap!

i grew up in Syracuse and pretty much attribute this building to inspiring my love of all things retro! imagine my pride when this very building showed up as a slide in my freshman year intro art history class (fellow major here) at Boston University!

MrsX – Who could not help but be inspired by that gorgeous deco building! And I was just thinking this morning that Deco was the first style that really piqued my interest, waaaaaay back in high school. I remember walking around Boston and recognizing deco buildings and getting so excited to see it. And, how funny- my freshman year slide project was about the Historic Theatres of Boston. Cracks me up at how many things change about us but certain things stay the same.

High five fellow art history major! 🙂

I worked in this exquisite building for 38 years. The interior, especially the lobby area, are just as wonderful as the exterior. Thank you for your excellent article on this beautiful work of art.
