I was born and raised in Cumberland, and there’s nothing like having a couple ‘sweat dogs’ and a chocolate rickey to wash them down with. It’s been about 15 years since I’ve imbibed – never seem to have time when I go back to see family. But this year……..hey, Gino! Have that grill smokin’ hot for me at Christmas!

I’m sure he’ll have it ready 😉 Have a swell visit back home!
The next time you get up that way, explore a little of Deep Creek Lake in Garrett County. Pick a season. Amazing. Rent a boat. Motor right up the the floating dock at the Honi-Honi Bar ( http://www.honi-honi.com/Default2.aspx ) and walk up to get a cold one and some wings. Ski The Wisp Resort in winter. It’s just an hour up the road from Gino and the sweat dogs. I’ll put money you’ll absolutely love it up there. Beautiful country. Go visit the fall festival in Springs, PA and watch them cook apple butter the old-fashioned way. Visit the artisan village in Grantsville and have dinner at the Casselman Inn or the Penn Alps Restaurant.
