Harry's is a Mod Betty "meet up with pals when leaving Massachusetts" Metrowest staple. Who could resist that neon arrow and the promise of delicious fried clams on Route 9?
According to their website "Harry’s originally opened in Shrewsbury in 1946 and moved to a former gas station in Westborough in 1968"
There are some great vintage photos on their About page. Definitely check them out because all Mod Betty ever seems to do is take photos of the sign...
Or my obvious go to - fried clam roll (bellies of course)
See what I mean?
Everything on the menu is good, there's counter seating or booths, you can get beer here too! While they're CASH ONLY (ATM on site0 It's definitely more than a neon sign and clam place. But if that's what you're looking for between Framingham and Worcester, you're all set at Harry's!
